Tabona & Walford has evolved entirely from personal request. Plenty of travel companies exist but none offer such a unique and flexible bespoke service. In essence, we organise walking holidays throughout Italy and Malta with many possible inclusions: cookery lessons, painting tuition, wine tastings, Italian language classes, and much more.....The choice is yours.

After many years of living and working in the Mediterranean, we feel we have an insider's knowledge and a genuine passion for the countries we visit. With our numerous personal and professional contacts we are able to research and organise exciting and innovative trips, taking in the essentials but avoiding the tourist melee. We aim to show you a new concept in travel, be it decadently luxurious or unexpectedly challenging, you will not return home indifferent.

We provide two types of trip:

  • Bespoke Holidays - these are private trips escorted by 2 professional guides. These trips can either follow one of our listed itineraries (listed price based on a minimum of 6 participants) or be fully tailor-made to fit your own requirements (price to be quoted).
  • Independent Holidays - these are unescorted holidays designed according to your specifications. Using our contacts we devise an itinerary for any number of participants and make all bookings on your behalf. For this we charge a service fee. This service allows you to travel independently but still enjoy our in-depth knowledge of these areas.
